Storefront Renovation Program: The Storefront Renovation Rebate Program (SRRP) was designed to encourage property owners and/or business tenants within the URBAN COUNTY to make façade improvements and/or correct exterior code violations.
Businesses located in an Improvement Target Area may receive a 40% rebate (maximum $8,000), for qualified exterior improvements. Businesses NOT located in an Improvement Target Area may receive a 30% rebate (maximum $6,000), for exterior improvements. An additional 5% rebate may be available to businesses that use green/sustainable/recycled component in the project.
Eligible Projects: Signs, lighting, entryways, windows/door, painting or cleaning, ADA-Compliant access, visible exterior code violations, and landscaping (only as an addition to any of the projects).

Building Improvement Program: Assistance for building improvements or equipment purchase is offered to a level that commensurate with the overall renovation project commitment. Signage/ Architectural Assistance Program: A building restoration and signage plan that is commercially sound and architecturally attractive. A rebate of 50% of the architectural costs shall not to exceed $800.00 per project. This program is citywide and has limited funds. Click Here for Application |

Rent Reimbursement Program: Rent reimbursement for 12% of the monthly rent for a new retail business in the Downtown area for a period not to exceed two years. The City/BCDC's 12% portion of monthly rent shall not exceed $360.00. This program has limited funding available. Click Here for Application |
